Project Workflows

An example of how one project moves from design to verification to linked records through Benchmate and BenchOS.

Primer design begins from project context

A scientist can ask Benchmate to design primers for SPT6 while BenchOS supplies the target, vector, planned assembly, and relevant public references such as UniProt. The result can become structured primer records immediately.

Verification is evaluated against the real clone

Benchmate can compare sequencing traces against the expected construct and decide whether a clone is correct. That result remains attached to the clone and to the downstream construct record rather than living only in chat or email.

The project ends up with reusable outputs

Verified clone records, computed scientific values, notebook widgets, and linked files all remain in the system after the interaction. This is what turns agent support into durable scientific infrastructure rather than transient assistance.

A good BenchOS workflow should leave behind better records, not just better conversation.
